1. Ans.(b) 3:2
Average exports = 638 + 1226 +1661 +1538 + 1305/5 = 1273.6 Years 1990-91 and 1991-92 have exports less than average export while others have more than that. So the required ratio is 3 : 2.
2. Ans.(d). 1993-94
The gap in imports and exports for the year
1990-91 is 186,
1991-92 is 212,
1992-93 is 524,
1993-94 is 25
1994-95 is 353.
So year 1993-94 has the minimum gap.
Also it’s can be determined by looking at the graph.
3. Ans.(e)None of these
Import in 1994-95 is 1,658 crore.
Import in 1990-91 is 824 crore
Excess = 1658 = 1658 – 824 = 834 crore
therefore, Excess percentage = 834/824 X 100 = 101.2%.
