Answer the Quantitative Ability Questions given below -

1. Monu scored an aggregate of 68% in her four year degree course where the exams are held once a year. Had she scored ‘k’ marks more in the final year her aggregate percent for the four years would have been 68.5% and her final year percent would have been 70%. What is her current percentage marks in the final year? Given that ratio of maximum possible marks in the first year, second year, third year, final year are in the ratio 2:3:2:3.

a. 68.33

b. 68.00

c. 69.00

d. 68.50

2. There is a one acre field in the shape of a right triangle, with sides of length x and y. At the midpoint of each side there is a post. Tethered to the posts on each side is a sheep. Tethered to the post on the hypostenuse is a dog. Each animal has a rope just long enough to reach the two adjacent vertices of the triangle. How much area outside of the field do the sheep have to themselves?

a. 2 acres

b. 2π acres

c. 1 acre

d. 3π acres

    Out Area+ pie/2*(hypo/2)^2=pie/2*[(x/2)^2+(y/2)^2]+x*y/2
    Out Area=x*y/2 (other two terms are equal as hypo^2=x^2+y^2)
    Out Area=Area of Triangle=I Acre

    Can someone confirm?
