    accoording to me ans for 3, is a). 20

    purana mixer disposed in 1997 is 10
    which makes total purchase of 1997 as (182-162) + 10[disposals] = 30 new purchases.

    hence, disposals in 1999 will be 20% of 30 = 6;
    since, purchases of 1999 is 236-222= 14 + 6 [disposals of 1999].
