Answers are:
1)B
2)Let o’ be the no of old ,y the no of Young and c be the no of Child. then
o’+y+c+=100———(1) And
3o’+2y+c/2=100 which gives
6o’+c+4y=200———(2)
Now subtract (1) from (2) to Obtain
5o’+3y=100
now Apply Hit and trial various values are:
1. o’=2,y=30,c=68
2. o’=5,y=25,c=70
3. o’=8,y=20,c=72
4. o’=11,y=15,c=74
5. o’=14,y=10,c=76
6. o’=17,y=5,c=78
Now From Options 4 Matches Thus
2) C
