Sample Logical Reasoning CAT Questions- Directions for next 3 questions: Answers the logical reasoning questions based on the following information.
The following steps refer to a certain software programme. The steps given in the code (in simple English language) shows the stages of working of the programme.

Step 0: Start of programme.
Step 1: Select X, where X is a natural number.
Step 2: If X is a prime, go to step 5.
Step 3: If X is an even number, convert X to Y. Y is defined is step 6. Go to step 6.
Step 4: If X is an odd number, convert X to Y. Y is defined in step 7. Go to step 7.
Step 5: Display output as square root to X. Go to step 9.
Step 6: Y is defined as equal to two less than the square of X. Go to step 8.
Step 7: Y is defined as equal to 5 more than the square of X. Go to step 8.
Step 8: Display output as Y.
Step 9: End of programme.

Among six friends – A, B, C, D, E and F – three are wearing a Blue dress, two are wearing a Red dress and one is wearing a Green dress. Three of them are employed, two are unemployed and one is a students. Also, three of them own only a Bicycle each, two of them own only a scooter each and one owns only a Mobike. Except C and D, no two friends have more than one similar attribute in common. Further the following information is known.

(i) C, who does not wear a Blue dress, does not have the same kind of vehicle as A.
(ii) Each of the four persons A, B, D and E have exactly one attribute in common with the person who owns the kind of vehicle no other person owns.
(iii) The students do not own a Bicycle.
(iv) For A, B and F, there is one common attribute and that is not the color of dress.

Directions for next 3 Logical Questions: Answer the logical questions based on the following information.

We are three friends—Saptarsh, Rushat and Trivendra – each has some red and white balls.

I. Saptarsh has atleast one red ball and twice as many white balls as red balls.

II. Rushat has atleast one red ball and three times as many white balls as red balls.

III. Trivendra has atleast one red ball and three more white balls than red balls.

IV. When I tell you the number of balls we have altogether – the number is less than 25, you will know how many balls I have, but not how many balls each of the others has.”
